Tulsa OK Mortgage
After finding Tulsa OK mortgage on my computer I got the number of a local broker. I called him and set up a meeting with a Tulsa OK mortgage broker this morning and that brings to mind the last time I was in Tulsa was when my ex-husband and my three pound poodle, Jazmin, were taking a trip across country to visit his sister in Greenville, North Carolina, and our air conditioning blew when we were driving on a long flat part of the freeway leading into Tulsa. It was our first trip in our new black 1989 Corvette and because they had to order an entire new air conditioning system, we had to spend five days in Tulsa with the heat in the 100s and the sandy/dusty wind blowing so hard it put little dents in our paint job. We did have a great hotel room with a Jacuzzi actually in the room enclosed in glass. It was really a nice little unplanned vacation. Even Jazmin liked the break from riding on the road. She had never been on such a long car ride, and we still had a long way to go. For a very small dog, she was handling the trip very well considering her inexperience in regards to long distanced traveling and the heat wave we were having right now. We hoped that things would cool down substantially so we could enjoy the rest of our trip.
Now I’m here in Tulsa with my 2nd husband who just got a job in a big organization so we’re looking for a home here. Meanwhile the company is putting us up in their condo for VIPs so it’s really an elaborate condo. That stop many years ago gave me a little idea of what Tulsa was like. It’s pretty flat territory and there are a lot of sand storms because of that. Anyway, we’ve met with the Tulsa OK mortgage broker and he has us set up to go look at some properties today. We asked him if there was any part of the town that had a lot of trees so that’s where we’re going this morning, it’s on the eastern side of Tulsa in a community surrounded by a few little mountains and trees. So, maybe it won’t be so windy in this part of town.
We found the little suburb where the house was located and it was beautiful and very southwestern looking. You know what I mean, stucco houses, lots of cacti around, those kind that look like a man with his arms held up. There were rows of them going up one of the mountains and it was kind of creepy looking, like a bunch of aliens marching towards you. Besides the aliens which we could see from the deck off the master bedroom, we loved the house and the style which was so unlike anything in Boston where we were living. Everything is so different here it’s like being in another world. We told the Tulsa OK mortgage broker that we wanted to make an offer on the house and asked him what we need to do from here. He went through the Tulsa OK mortgage closing and escrow processes and told us that if all went well we should have an approval from the Tulsa OK mortgage company in a couple of weeks and he was sure he could get us a good interest rate with Tulsa OK mortgage.
Our plans were to go back to Boston and hire a moving company to move what belongings we were bringing with us and have a sale to get rid of what wouldn’t go with our new house and donate the rest. We had a lot to do before we actually moved, but his company had given him some time off to transition and I was off already because I was pregnant and expecting in five weeks. We were praying that the baby would wait until we were in our new home. My two younger sisters were coming to help us with the move and with the baby the first few weeks. Hopefully, there wouldn’t be any dust or sand storms going on the next month.
