California Reverse Mortgage

I was sitting on the patio overlooking the beautiful Pacific Ocean thinking about a California Reverse mortgage. I just dialed the California reverse mortgage broker to discuss this California Reverse mortgage and he said he was sure we would qualify since we owned our home and therefore had a lot of equity built up. This was great news because we really wanted to take a cruise.  I had been thinking about when I first met my husband, Tom, he was in the Navy and it had been over 25 years ago. Back then men in uniforms were very popular with the females and Tom was gorgeous in his Navy whites and it was love at first sight when I first saw him that sight at the UFO dance. That first night we danced until the bank stopped playing. Then we went for a walk downtown and stopped for an early breakfast in a popular place downtown, it was 4 A.M. and we were so much in love we didn’t even think about sleep. We saw each other every day until that very said day when his shipped deployed on a six month cruise. It was so hard saying goodbye but he had proposed to me the night before so we knew we had something to look for as soon as he got back.

Twenty-five years have passed and he’s finally back for good. We’ve been writing each other all the times he was gone about where we wanted to live. He was from North Dakota but he loved California and that was where I was from, so we decided on Oceanside which was north of San Diego. We’ve been living in the house we bought when he came home ever since. Now Tom is retired and our kids are grown so we are alone and want to do some traveling on our own. His pension provides well for us but the trip we really want to take is a two month cruise which is why we’ve contacted a California reverse mortgage broker to see if we qualify for one of those California reverse mortgages to get us some extra money so that we can enjoy ourselves now that Tom doesn’t have to leave anymore.

Because of him being in the military we never actually got to take a vacation so we want our first one to be a big exciting one. The California reverse mortgage broker called us back after about a week and said we had a lot of equity in our home and we do qualify for the Reverse mortgage.  We told him to go ahead with the California Reverse mortgage application and let us know if we needed to do anything else. We then got on the computer to compare cruise schedules and prices and there are so many choices we can’t make up our minds. We think we want to go to Egypt, Africa and the tropic islands, we just can’t decide which one we want to go on first. So the travel agent is going to send us some brochures hoping that those will help us decide. Wherever we go we know we’ll have a great time. We been waiting such a long time for this day to come.
